At Manly Village Public School we have a wonderfully dynamic Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association. One of the main aims of the parents of the P&C is to improve the school experience for every child (beyond that which the Department of Education and Communities (DEC) provides) in a non-political, non-discriminatory manner.
The P&C also raises funds that help finance improvements to our school and provide additional resources.
What We've Achieved
- This school has a great tradition of parental involvement. The parents of the P&C are involved with a huge array of projects throughout the school, capturing a broad range of interests and talents. These include grounds, canteen, uniform, band, fundraising, school magazine and Manly Market.
- Each year an Annual General meeting is held at which the Executive members are voted in. This is advertised in the Seasider Newsletter. The MVPS P&C Executive comprises the President, two Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer and Library Trust Fund Administrator.
- The P&C is also represented on the Library Trust Fund committee, by the P&C President.
